Eloise Golden

Eloise (Howard) Golden, "Beak" to family and friends, age 76, of Corbin, KY, formerly of Evarts, KY, went to her forever heavenly home and was reunited with many family members on April 1, 2023.

Eloise was born in Jones Creek, KY, on April 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Wilson and Eva Napier Howard. She believed in the Baptist Faith, and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Corbin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Golden, brothers, Andy Carter, Charles Howard, and John Howard, and by a sister, Joyce Bays.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Mark Golden and wife Donna, grandchildren, TJ, Christina, Gabe, and Gunnar. Her sisters, Polly Baker of Crestline, OH, Nell King and husband Bill, and Euna Wynn all of Evarts, KY, brother, Estil Howard and wife Susie of Sturgis, KY, and by a host of nephews, nieces, along with many friends.

Visitation for Eloise will be held at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on Monday April 3, 2023, at 12noon until the time of her funeral service at 2pm, with Rev. Keaton Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in the Terrell Cemetery.
