Elva Marie Faddis Lubbe

Elva Marie Faddis Lubbe, age 95, of Corbin passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Christian Health Center after a long illness.
A daughter of the late Mart and Blanche Keith Faddis, she was also predeceased by her husband Elmer Lubbe, sisters Wilma Faddis, Ruth Faddis Roaden, Edith Faddis Wells, and Pauline Faddis Patterson, and step-daughter Rella Bailey.
Elva is survived by her daughter, Elsie Jo Lubbe Jones; step-daughters Peggy Lubbe Schmidt and Marlene Lubbe Campbell and husband Paul; grandsons Kevin Jones and Keith Jones, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are many friends who will mourn her passing.
She was a housewife and enjoyed very much traveling, especially with the AARP and was able to visit many states with her many friends.
Her visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2 pm, with Brother Ronnie Mitchell and Brother Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association or the Christian Health Center Activity Fund.
