Elza Jack Angel

Elza "Jack" Angel, 91, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Whitley County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ancil Angel and Sally Gross Angel. He was retired from National Standard and was a member of United Steel Workers #7073. Jack was also a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Angel; son William Jack Angel; and daughter Janice Crocker.
He is survived by his children: Larry (Etta) Angel, Darlene (Arnold) Morgan, Betty (Tommy) Lanham, Gary Angel, Paul Angel, and Kenny Dale (JoAnn) Angel, all of Corbin, and Danny (Jill) Angel of Artemus; brother Ora Angel (Gail) of London; sister Nevada Wells (Toot) of Akron, Ohio; 17 grandkids; 23 great-grandkids; and numerous great-great-grandkids.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 30, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Sester officiating.
Burial will be in the Angel Family Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
