Erma Faye Garrett

Erma Faye Garrett, age 76, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Albany, Kentucky, a daughter to the late Lee Cecil and Elizabeth Stailey Cecil. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mert Cummings, and Sue Cecil and by a brother, Eddie Cecil. Erma is survived by her husband, Charles Garret, children, Mike Garrett (Sherry), Tammy Powell, and Rodney Garrett (Linda), brother, Austin Cecil, sisters, Betty Parrigin, and Eva Sue Blackburn (Phillip), granddaughters, Jessica Vann (Michael), and Emily Garrett, great grandsons, Bentley Vann and Brayden Vann, and by many other family and friends. Visitation for Erma Garrett will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday June 23, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday June 24th, with Rev. Justin Morris and Rev. Johnny Jervis officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
