Ernest H. Jackson

Ernest H. Jackson, age 77, of Corbin, Kentucky passed on Saturday July 24, 2021 at his home in Corbin. He was born on July 26, 1943 in Corbin, Kentucky and was preceded in death by his sons, Timothy Jackson and Jack Jackson; parents, Jack Jackson and Mildred Brown Jackson; and by his brothers; Luther, Leon, Chester, and Clancy Jackson; sisters, Donna Alsip and Janice Rogers. Ernest is survived by his wife, Shirley Walters Jackson; son, Ernest Jackson Jr.; daughters, Mildred Ellen Johnson and Annette Brown; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral service for Ernest Jackson will be held at 2pm on Sunday August 1, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin. Visitation will be on Sunday August 1st from 12noon until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
