Ernie Lee Wilson

Ernie Lee Wilson, age 73, of Corbin, passed away on Monday July 12, 2021 at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation in Corbin, KY. He was born in Corbin a son to the late Merle Edward Wilson and Sarah Reese Wilson. Ernie was a US Army Veteran and had worked at Comp Care in Corbin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Son, Ernie Ray Wilson and first wife, Glenna Wilson. Ernie is survived by his wife, Stella Hicks; son, Sean Wilson (Kim); step children, Joanne Blackwood, Isabelle Hicks, and John Lawson; grandchildren, Garrett Wilson, Caroline Cox, Colton Cox, and Tara Bledsoe (Cameron); and by his siblings, Bernie Wilson, Shirley Mallot, and Edna Tye (Elza). The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday July 15, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily.
