Eslie Sawyers

Eslie Sawyers, age 85, of Norwood, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Hospice of Cincinnati.

Born in Sawyers, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late James "Jim" Tucker and Orpha Wilson Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dulano "Hoss" Sawyers in 2019, and by her siblings, Luther Tucker, Christine Brantley, Herman Tucker, Tommy Tucker, Joe Tucker, and Amos Tucker.

She is survived by her siblings, Maxine West and husband Herschel of Indianapolis, IN, Irene Sowder of Corbin, and Oscar Tucker and wife Sherryll of Melbourne, KY. Eslie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY. Her funeral service will be held at 12noon on Thursday September 14th at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky.
