Estil Ray Jenkins

Estil Ray Jenkins, age 82, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born in Corbin to the late Roy and Sally Jenkins. Estil was a retired truck driver and had operated a mower repair shop for over 20 years. He was a US Air Force Veteran and was also a former deacon at Rockholds Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and rabbit hunting, and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Farmer Jenkins; Sons, Roy Timothy Jenkins and Randal Philip Jenkins; Brother, Roy Everett Jenkins; and Sister, Ruby Overbey.
He is survived by his Sons, Kendall Jenkins and Rondall (Carlene) Jenkins; and Grandchildren Ashley and Heather Jenkins.
Funeral service for Estil Jenkins will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, with military honors by American Legion Post 88.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, November 1, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
