Eva "Bobbie" Alsip

Eva "Bobbie" Alsip, age 77 of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born in Moses, Kentucky and was a lifelong Southern Baptist having been a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 40years. She was a loving mother to all her children especially to Sonny, whose life became her joy and dedication.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Allen C. Alsip; son, Richard Allen Alsip; parents, Sonny Nunn and Lissie Taylor Nunn; and by her siblings, Dorsal Nunn, Bruce Nunn, and Annalee Nunn.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Alsip, Sonny Alsip, and Glenn Alsip and wife Melesa; granddaughter, Miranda Broughton and husband Brandon; great grandchildren, Conner, Brayde, Bentley, and Huck; siblings, Katherine Engle; Lawrence Ned Nunn; Betsy Thompson and husband Jim; Gwen Evans and husband Arthur; Darlene Nunn; and Eddie Nunn; special sister in law, Sue Nunn; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends, including special friend, Rhonda Lyliston. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Sunday October 17, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday October 17th with Rev. Chuck Broyles officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery - Croley Addition in Williamsburg.
