Everett Kinney, Jr.

Everett Kinney, Jr., age 65, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Everett Kinney Sr. and Annie Bories Kinney. He was Holiness by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy and Louis Kinney; sister, Judy Sasser; and nephew, Jimmy Lawson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Kinney; three children: Veronica Honeycutt and husband Paul, Crystal Adkins, and Shahanna Kinney, all of Corbin; grandchildren: Everett Kinney III, Timothy Honeycutt, Joshua Vaughn, Alexi Vaughn, Jazlyn Kinney, and Skylah Kinney; siblings: Sherry Hammac of Glennie, Michigan; Patricia Sharp of London; and Steve Kinney and wife Linda Kay of Lily; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, including a very special nephew, Johnny Sasser, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Stansbury Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
