Fay B. Taylor, 97, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Christian Care Communities in Corbin.
Born in Honey Bee, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Linzy and Tempa Rose Childers. She was a homemaker and a member of the Artemus Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Arthur Horace Bertram and Coy Taylor; four brothers: Glenn, Howard, Arlo and James Childers: sister, Mae Bryant; seven infant siblings; three half-brothers and four half-sisters; and step-son, Donald Taylor.
She is survived by two daughters: Mary Bertram Clark and husband Richard of Corbin, and Joyce Kemmery and husband William of Woodleaf, North Carolina; three granddaughters: Lisa Clark Foster and husband Derrick, Sara Clark Pendergraft, and Amy Cannon; great-grandchildren: Emily Foster, Taylor Pendergraft, and Travis and Jacob Cannon; step-children: George Taylor, Fay Hatfield, and David Rose; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Foster and Rev. Jake Copley officiating.
Burial will be at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
