Faye Walden, 60, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and had worked for the Corbin Independent Schools as an instructional monitor.
Born in Whitley County, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Hensley and Opal Faulkner Hensley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Walden.
She is survived by two children, Robbie Walden and wife Kim and Rikki Walden, all of Corbin; two precious grandchildren, Kaell and Kaiden Walden; three brothers, Jerry Hensley and wife Betty of Dayton, Ohio, Stanley Hensley and wife Doris of London, and Danny Hensley of London; one sister, Linda Hollars and husband Jerry of Williamsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, March 14, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with the funeral service immediately following at 8pm Friday. Bro. Floyd Hale will officiate.
Burial will take place at 10 am Saturday, March 15, at the Slate Hill Cemetery in Laurel County.
