Flora Paulette Parsons

Flora Paulette Parsons, 65, of Corbin passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her home.
A native of Harlan County, she had been an LPN giving home nursing care.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Parsons; five children: Harry Parsons, Paul Parsons, Mary Woosley Penny, Chris Parsons, and Janet Parsons; her mother, Orpha Miller; five granddaughters and two grandsons; four brothers: Ronnie Miller, Johnny Miller, Ancil Carter, and Randall Carter; and four sisters: Connie Miller Hash, Doris Hensley, Ann Novek, and Dorothy Touchek.
Flora was preceded in death by her father, Paul Miller, a sister, Genni Griggs, and brothers Pete Miller and Arville Carter, SGMJ US Army Ret. 101st Airborne Division.
Visitation will begin at 5 pm Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6 pm with Rev. Kelly Bohannon officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
