Floretta Gabbard

Floretta Gabbard, 58, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Earl Hopkins and Maxine Jackson Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ron Edward Gabbard; husband, Paul Gabbard; sisters, Barbara Goforth and Jennifer Brown; and brothers, Earl Hopkins and Charlie Hopkins.
She is survived by her step-father, Sidney Grubbs; daughter-in-law, April Sexton; grandchildren: Austin Gabbard, Dakota Gabbard, Chase Gabbard, Elijah Sexton, Jerry Conn, Brittany Gabbard, and Elizabeth Gabbard; step-son, Paul Gabbard and wife Jennifer; sisters, Phyllis Crusenberry and Judy Gray; brother, Eugene Hopkins; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Alva Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Horse Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Friday, Nov. 21, at the funeral home.
