Flossie Opal Parks

Flossie Opal Parks, age 90, of Lady Lake, Florida, and formerly of Corbin, went home to be with her Lord on January 22, 2012, 11:10 pm, at Cornerstone Hospice  in the Villages, Florida. She was preceded to Heaven by her husband of 51 years, Ted A. Parks and by three sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Phyllis Gray of Lady Lake, Florida; son, Gary Parks and wife Linda of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, John Brintley and wife Debbie of Woodbine, Kentucky, Patricia Broughton and husband Larry of Corbin, and Steve Parks and Darren Parks of Jacksonville, Florida; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and loving friends.
Funeral service will be at 11am Saturday, January 28, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, Jan. 27, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master St., Corbin, KY.
