Frances Louise Henson

Frances Louise Carter Henson, age 59, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday August 6, 2023, at Baptist Health in Corbin.


Born in Knox County, Kentucky, she was a homemaker who loved cooking.  Louise was a member of Boone Height Pentecostal Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Lee Carter and Ada Smith Carter and by a sister, Patricia Potter.


Louise is survived by her husband, Roy Henson, stepchildren, Christopher, Brooklyn, and Brandon Henson, brothers, Willie Carter (Rita), Don Carter (Dana), and Allen Dale Carter (Pam), sister, Carolyn Roberts (Mike), grandchildren, Hunter, Ashton, and Addleigh, and by several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Haley, Brooklyn, and Paula.


Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 12noon until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm, with Rev. Charles Henson, Rev. Charles Robinson, and Rev. Allen Walker officiating.


Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.  To make a donation, you may call or stop by the funeral home, or you may select the "Tribute Fund" icon.  The family will be given a list of all who have donated to help the family.
