Frances Skinner Jackson, age 85, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, A.T. Skinner and Lillian Moore Skinner; Sisters, Irene Skinner, Ima Sturgill, and Ruth Clifford; Brothers, Claude and Clyde Skinner.
Frances is survived by her two Children; Sherry Waller and husband Paul of Louisville and Charles "Chuck" D. Jackson and wife Betty of Macon, GA; her former husband, Charles H. Jackson; Grandchildren; Tammy Thomas and husband Lloyd, Aimee Hall and husband Matt, Kim Matthews and husband Rob; Seven Great-grandchildren; Sister, Georgia "Bunny" Jones of Lily, KY; Brothers, Jim Skinner and wife Jimmy of Corbin, and George Skinner of Louisville; several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends including Peggy and Bo Eubanks, Pat and Arlin Prewitt, and Judy Clifford.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at the Corbin Nursing Home for the love and care given to Frances while she was a resident.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, from 12noon until the time of her funeral service at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
