Frances Viola Lomax

Frances Viola Lomax, age 71, of Corbin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gray, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Blankenship and Vivian Hixon Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ivan Wayne Kelly; brothers, L.C., Clayton, Junior, Jimmy, and Jack Blankenship; and sisters, Mattie Irene Karr and Alice Ferrell.
She is survived by daughters, Vera Karr and Vivian Dalton, both of Corbin; grandson, Tyler Rankin Collins of Corbin; siblings, Roy Blankenship of Keavy, Maxine Smith of Corbin and Gerald Blankenship of Corbin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends all who mourn her passing.
Graveside Services will be held at 11am Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the Brafford Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Rogers officiating.
There will be no visitation. Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
