Fred W. Scott

Fred W. Scott, age 69, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2022, at his home in Corbin.

He was born in Pineville, Kentucky, a son to the late Green Scott and Elizabeth Jones Scott.  Fred was a retired baker from Sara Lee in London, KY, and was a US Navy veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jasper Scott.

Fred is survived by his sons, Nicholas Scott and Phillip Scott, daughter, Joy Scott, grandson, Hayden Scott, sisters, Phyllis McAdams and Brenda Scott, brothers, Starlin Scott and Bill Scott, and by several nieces and nephews including special nephew, Randall Weddle.

Visitation for Fred Scott will be from 10am until 12noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral will be held at 12 noon, with Rev. Timothy Scott officiating.

Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery, Path Fork, Kentucky.
