Freda Sexton

Freda Mae Sexton, age 56, of Gray, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Bill and Alma Partin Sexton; Brother, Neal Sexton in 2007, and by a Sister, Phyllis Sexton; Paternal Grandparents, John and Ida Carter Sexton Garland; Maternal Grandparents, Mary Alice Helton and Perry Robert Partin.
She is survived by a Foster Daughter, Wanda (Lynnie) Scalf; Sister, Sharlene Sexton; Nephew, Shane Sexton and wife Jennifer, Joseph Keen, Tarah King, and Colton King all of Gray; Uncle and Aunt, William and Linda Partin of Muncie, IN; Aunt, Edna Mae Partin;  Special Cousin, Patty Fry; and Great Uncle Harold Helton, all of Barbourville.
Honorary Pall bearers and caregivers, Fay Carter, Sherry Taylor, DiAnn Fry, Mary Monhollen, Vicky Carter Dugger, and Connie Carter.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sexton-Carter Cemetery in Gray.
Pall bearers will be Carl Carter, Travis Carter, Jr., Mickey Carter, Stanley Blevins, Justin Gorsuch, Jason Petrey, Chucky Farmer, and Daniel Farmer.
Additional honorary pall bearers are friends and cousins, Larry Taylor, Harrison Carter, William Carter, James Carter, Roy Carter, Pam Carter, J.D. Visitation will be on Monday, February 11, 2008, from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
