Freddie R. Jones

Freddie R. Jones, age 76, of Lily, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Whitley County, he was a son of the late Fred C. Jones and Lola McCreary Jones. Freddie was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving and protecting in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Jones, sisters, Wilma Alsip and Thelma Jones, brothers, Carl Jones and John Jones, and a stepson, Tim Havens.

He is survived by two sisters, Faye Burke and Judy Jenkins, stepsons, Jim Havens, Patrick Havens Jr., Jerry Havens, and Tommy Vanover, and by many grandchildren and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
