Gaylain Timothy '"G"' Mcfarland

Gaylain Timothy "G" McFarland, 51, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Continue Care Hospital.
He was born in Corbin to the late Glenn B. McFarland and Alice Ridner McFarland.
He had worked at Johnny Wheels in Corbin as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, NASCAR, and being with his five grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his companion of 19 years Marilyn Collins and her children Amanda Metcalf and Eric Starks; his sister Twila Bryant and Jerry Couch and her children Chas Bryant and his wife Brittany, and Kandace Bryant. He is also survived by five grandchildren all of Corbin; one uncle and two aunts; many cousins and many friends; and a very special friend Kevin Frazier of Indiana; and a very special cousin who was like a brother, Danny Angel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Don Farmer and Rev. Michael Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in the Moore Cemetery in Whitley County.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 30, at the funeral home.
