Gayle Anne Cobb

Gayle Anne Cobb, 64, formerly of Corbin, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Catherine Laboure Manor in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corbin. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she grew up in Corbin, graduated from Lynn Camp High and Eastern Kentucky University. She was known for smiling and always being happy.
She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Kaetzel (Jon) of Jacksonville, Florida, and a son, Nick Cobb (Tera) of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren Sydney and Andrew Cobb of Lexington, and Alexis Kaetzel of Cincinnati, Ohio; parents Keith and Goldie Johnson of Corbin; sisters Donna Andrews (Bruce) of Corbin and Kathy Carnes (Leelan) of Corbin; brothers Ronnie Johnson (Janet) of Corbin and Earl Johnson (Nancy) of Corbin; nephews Rich Grigsby, Jim Grigsby, Mickey Johnson, the late Allen Johnson, Scott Johnson, Earl Johnson, and Leelan Carnes II; nieces Angela Thomas, Amy Johnson, and Krista Jackson; her former husband William R. (Bill) Cobb; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for family will be from 11 to 12 on Friday, January 20, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Friends may call from noon to 2pm on Friday. Visitation will be followed by a funeral service at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home at 2pm with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers to include Rick Hughes, Earl Johnson Jr., Mickey Johnson, Jim Grigsby, Scott Johnson, Leelan Carnes II, and Rich Grigsby.
