Geneva Taylor Robinson

Geneva Taylor Robinson, 52, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Born January 30, 1952 in Knox County to the late Roosevelt and Omey Gray Taylor, she was a homemaker and a member of the Cold Port Holiness Church in Barbourville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Larry Lee Robinson, a brother Noah Taylor and a sister Dorthy Robbins.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Robinson of Corbin; two sons, Gary Wayne Henson & wife Tracy of Barbourville and Jimmy James Robinson of Corbin; one daughter, Roberta Robinson of Corbin; one granddaughter, Sylvia Henson of Corbin; three sisters, Pauline Smith of Gray, Cleda Adams of Corbin and Martha Jane Karr of Corbin; two brothers, Andrew Taylor of Corbin and Tommy Taylor of Gray; and 25 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Geneva Robinson will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Josh VanNorstran, Rev. Roe Gibson, and Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James "Bill" Smith, Keith Siler, Bobby Adams, Jerry Taylor, Donnie Garland, Randy Sizemore, Kenneth Siler, James Barton and Thomas Taylor.
