George Andrew "Drew" Terrell, age 77, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Baptist Health Lexington.
George was a man of the land, whose witty humor, generosity, and dedication made him a beloved figure to all who knew him. From the tender age of five, George found his calling on the farm, a passion that would shape his life and character. His love for hard work and service to others was evident in every furrow he plowed and every seed he sowed. Not only a farmer, George also lent his dedication to Pepsi Cola Bottling of Corbin, where he served as a production manager for an impressive 38 years.
Retirement did not slow George down; his love for farming and gardening, coupled with his regular bowling outings, kept him active and engaged. His robust laughter and quick wit were infectious, making him a joy to be around. George's generous spirit extended to his love for animals, with many a rescue finding a home on his beloved farm. But what truly defined George was his unwavering devotion to his family. To him, they were his world, his greatest achievement, and his most profound joy. A faithful attendee of Calvary Baptist Church, George's faith was a guiding force in his life.
