George Wendell Lowe

George Wendell Lowe, age 61, of St. Clair Shores, MI, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Monday April 18, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Harlan, KY, a son to the late Clyde Earl Lowe and Lena Perkins Lowe. Wendell was a contractor and loved listening to the Beatles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Christopher Lowe and Wendell Lowe, brothers, David Lowe, Lonnie Lowe, and Larry Lowe, sisters Judy Gudich, Martha Wilson, Doris Ridener, and Linda Gail Lowe. He is survived by his son, Wendell Lee Stanley, daughter, Wendy Andrews, grandchildren, Westley Andrews and Mitchell Stanley, siblings, Mary Lowe, Jerry Lowe, Vickie Love, Lisa Lawson, and Leroy Lowe, and by many special nieces, nephews, family, and friends who mourn his passing but celebrate his life. Visitation will be from 1pm until 8pm on Monday April 25, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral, where his funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday April 26, 2022, with Rev.
