Georgia Decker

Georgia Decker, age 71, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday April 28, 2022, at Baptist Health in Corbin, KY. She was born in Corbin a daughter of the late Willie Johnson and Emily Catherine Reynolds Gray. Georgia was Baptist by Faith having been a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Gabbard and Judy Paul, and by her brother, Edmund Johnson. Georgia is survived by her brothers, Billy Ray Johnson and Everett Johnson, daughter, Kathy Elwsick, grandsons, Mathew Elswick, Joshua Elswick, and Christopher Elswick, great grandchildren, Paizlee and Clay Elswick, and by numerous nieces and nephews, including Mary Gabbard and Bobby Gabbard. Graveside service for Georgia Decker will be held at 11am on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at the Gabbard Cemetery, Liberty Church Road, Corbin, KY.
