Georgia Hollin Humfleet

Georgia Hollin Humfleet, 82, of Gray, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Baptist Health Corbin. Born in Clay County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Vernie Hollin. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Basel Humfleet; son-in-law Jerry Miracle; several sisters; and two brothers. Georgia is survived by four children: Brenda Miracle of Gray, Joe Humfleet (Anna) of Corbin, Charlie Humfleet (Teresa) of Gray, and Marlo Humfleet of Gray; eight grandchildren: Shelly Cornett, Misty Steele, Kelly Bowling, Jonathan Humfleet, Austin Huff, Christopher Humfleet, James Humfleet, and Ashley Burke; 22 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Larkin Hollin, Leona McCreary, Martha Shorter, Mary Shorter, Alice Jones, Flossie Hinkle, Axie Scott, and Sarah Gray. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Living Waters Pentecostal Church with Rev. R.P. Edwards and Rev. Randall Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday night at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Helton Cemetery.
