Gerald Glenn Humfleet, age 92, of Corbin, passed away Friday at his residence.
He was born on March 11, 1912 in Knox County to the late Bruce Humfleet and Idella Dugger Humfleet. He was a retired jeweler and watchman, and a Methodist by Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings; Una Van, Beulah Rose, Paul Humfleet, and Lowell Humfleet.
He is survived by one Sister, Eula Hubbard of Ohio; Nephews, Delmer Van and Wife Teresa of Corbin; Carl Van and wife Lisa of Corbin, Lynn Van and Wife Glenna of Ohio; and nieces, Shirley Marsee of Rockholds and Betty Helton and husband David of Harrogate, TN; Great Nieces and Nephews: Brandon Van and wife Jessica, Adam Van and wife Stephanie, Megan, Hannah, and Edward Van, Ashley Strunk, Brittany, Rachael and C.J. Van, Brian Van and Jennifer Helton; and A Great Great Niece Aaliyah Van.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Laurel County.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
