Gertha Barbara Cox

Gertha Barbara Cox, age 79, of Corbin, passed away on Friday August 16, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Milan, Indiana and was a homemaker.
Barbara was preceded in death by her her first husband, Harry Michael Mallott; sons, Harry Steven Mallott and Timothy Aaron Mallott; Parents, Edward Leonard Jackson and Edna Mae Shorter Jackson; granddaughter, Kimberly Nicole King; and by her sister, Iris Breedlove.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Cox; Children, Kathy Reynolds, Philip Mallott, and Michael Mallott; grandchildren, Amanda Newton, Jennie King, Julie Conners, Jeff King, Spencer Mallott, and Sydney Mallott; sister, Sona Childress; brother, John Jackson; 10 great grandchildren, and by a host of other friends and relatives who mourn her passing.
A time to celebrate her life will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday August 25, 2019 at the Echo Valley Church of the Nazarene in Lily, Kentucky.
