Gladys Cox

Gladys Cox, 76, of Gray passed away Friday evening, September 16, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was a daughter of the late Edgar and Mae Oliver Felts of Corbin. Also, Gladys was preceded in death by a son Allen Ray Cox and seven siblings: Billie Delia Felts, Harry Felts, Paul Felts, Jeanette Frederick, Danny Felts, Connie Clouse, and Larry Felts.
She is survived by her husband James E. Cox; children Tom Cox and wife Claudette, Richard Cox, and Pam Jones and husband Oris; eleven grandchildren: Terra Mitchell, Tommy Cox, Timmy Cox, Brooke Jones, Erika Hoskins, James Allen Cox, Candace Disney, Jonathan Cox, Seth Jones, Andre Cox, and Lindsay Cox; twenty-one great grandchildren; six siblings: Margie Flint, Hazel Zeis, Carl Ray Felts, Faye Andrews, Jean Miller, and Jerry Felts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the children in her extended family.
Gladys' visitation will be from 6 until 9pm Tuesday at Dorthae Pentecostal Church. Her life will be celebrated there at 2pm Wednesday with Rev. Billy Evans officiating.
Burial will follow at Felts Chapel Cemetery.
