H. P. 'Jim' Fuson

H. P. Fuson, 84, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ethel Fuson, sisters Ruth Smith, Retha Penlack, Ruby Dugger, Doris Rapier, and Emma Sue Cox, and a brother, Gene Fuson.
H. P. is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nan Fuson; three daughters and their husbands, Cheryl and Kelvin Helton, Lisa and Jason Williams, and Tracey and Mark Scott; five grandchildren, Ryan Scott and wife Kalae, Gracie Scott, Alex Williams, Olivia Williams, and Lindsey Daniel and husband Jeffery; and several loving nieces and nephews and many friends.
H. P. retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a 27-year member of West Corbin Baptist Church and former church trustee. Also, he was the former owner of Fuson Septic Tank Service.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday at West Corbin Baptist Church, with the funeral to follow at 1:00 pm. Rev. Randy McPheron and Rev. Billy Howell will officiate.
Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, with military honors by the American Legion Post 88 Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Nikolas Tripodo, Alexander Williams, Ryan Scott, Frankie Curry, Aubra Petrey, and Henry Broughton. Honorary bearers will be Mark Scott, Jason Williams, and Kelvin Helton.
