Harold Jones

Harold Jones, age 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday October 2, 2022, at the University of Louisville, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born in Knox County, Kentucky a son of the late Joseph L. Jones and Effie Pennington Jones.  Harold was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era.  He was a retired line foreman for General Electric and loved riding motorcycles, gardening, and horse racing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe L. Jones, Otto Leonard Jones, and Bobby Ray Jones.

Harold is survived by his son, Joey Jones, grandchildren, Tyler Lee Jones and Logan Andrew Jones, brother, Larry Jones (Sharon), sister, Elizabeth Gray Calloway, and by his former wife Carolyn Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday October 7, 2022, at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky with Rev. John Laws officiating.
