Harvey Lee Lanham

Harvey Lee Lanham, age 70, born June 28, 1947, departed this life on January 8, 2018 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He is preceded in death by his twin children Velvet Dawn Lanham and Veronica Joan Lanham; his parents Cora Rosalee Rose Lanham and Alonzo Lanham Sr.; his siblings David Manual Lanham and wife Junetta. Alonzo Lanham Jr., Marlin Lanham, Margaret Hill, Rosella Perkins, and Linda Lanham.
He is survived by the mother of his children Rita Cloud Lanham of Corbin; three daughters Sonya McVey and husband Joe of Tallapoosa, Georgia, Nancy Meadows and husband Jay of Corbin, and Mitzi Lanham of Corbin; eight grandchildren: Rachel Myers, Alexa McVey, Timothy Canada, James Johnson, Madison Dole, Connor Dole, Cody Meadows and Jeffrey Meadows; three brothers Donald Ray Lanham and wife Marilyn of Williamsburg, KY, Billy Wayne Lanham and wife Martha of Lexington, Indiana, and Roy Lanham and wife Denise of Woodbine, KY; two sisters Wanda Scalf and husband Charles of Hartsville, Tennessee and Gina Durham and husband Jeff of Corbin; and sister-in-law Hazel Lanham of Tazewell, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2018 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Young Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am Friday until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm.
