Harvey 'Scooty' Creech

Harvey (Scooty) Creech, 88, of Corbin Kentucky passed away on November 2, 2021. Harvey was born on May 19, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Pearl Creech, Brothers, Frank, Don, John, and Orvil Creech. Sisters, Irene Lewis and Hazel Richco. Harvey is survived by his wife of 63years Doris Creech; two Sons, Mark Creech (Donna) and Kerry Creech (Tammy). Sister, Reecie Born. Grandchildren, Michael Creech, Jessica Pruisman (Greg) and Natasha Garrison (Eric). Great-grandchildren, Trey Hensley, Kodi Davidson, Marley Garrison and Boston Garrison. Harvey taught school for 35 years, coached football for 20 years and served his country as an Army veteran. Harvey also enjoyed watching sports, fishing and spending time telling stories with his friends and family. A celebration of Harvey's life will be on November 13, 2021 from 12 to 3 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with a private family graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery.
