Hayden Smith

Hayden Smith, age 77, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the Claiborne County Hospital in Tazewell, Tennessee.
He was born on October 6, 1926 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Walter and Ada Carnes Smith.
He was a retired Navy Veteran having served in World War II and a Baptist by Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Smith; two Sons, James Scottie Smith and Gary Lee Smith.
He is survived by three Sons, William H. Smith, Michael Wayne Smith and Erwin D. Smith; One Daughter, Beverly Anderson; Two Brothers, Edwin Allen and John A. Allen; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Bargo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hutchens Cemetery in Knox County.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
