Hazel Arlene Hazelwood

Hazel Arlene Hazelwood, age 68, of Keavy, passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
She was born on May 8, 1948 the daughter of the late Monroe and Nanny Johnson Martin. Hazel enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family and with her cat "Icey." She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
Hazel is survived by her Husband of 47years, Johnnie W. Hazelwood; two Sons, Doug Hazelwood and wife Shavone of San Antonio, TX, and Clayton Hazelwood and wife Julie of Keavy; She is also survived by the joys of her life her Grandchildren; Aliza, Owen, and Emory; one Brother, Curtis Martin and wife Joanne; Sister in law, Stella Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother, James "Monk" Martin in 2015.
Funeral service for Hazel Hazelwood will be held at 1pm on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis McCoy and Rev. Shane Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.
