Heather Renee Mabe Williams

Heather Renee Mabe Williams, age 42, of London, KY, passed on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born to thirst for knowledge, Heather attained a bachelor's degree in wildlife management from Eastern Kentucky University. She carried this same drive into her career, as an accountant at WebSphere. Then later explored a more hands-on healing approach as a licensed massage therapist at Corbin Massage Therapy. Her work in both fields was marked by a profound love for helping others.

Outside of her professional life, Heather loved gaming and was a film enthusiast, often spending joyful evenings engrossed in exciting games or captivating movies with her loving husband, Glenn. Her two dogs, Siggi and Baby Beelz, were her treasured companions. Her loving nature and boundless compassion made a tangible difference in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Diana Goodrum Mabe; and grandmother-in-law, Leatrice Williams.

Heather is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn; father, Donnie Mabe (special friend, Charlene Gross); sister, Michelle Williford (Kevin); nephew, Cody Vaughn (Haley); niece, Fancy Lynn Vaughn; sister-in-law, Jessica Gambel (Tony), and their children Tytus, Isabella, and Harper; grandfather-in-law, Thomas Williams, and by numerous other family members and friends. 

Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2 pm on Saturday, with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. 

Burial will follow at Tuttle Cemetery in Knox County, KY. 

Pallbearers will be Kevin Williford, Tony Gambel, Titus Gambel, Cody Vaughn, Louie Helton, and Glenn Williams.
