Henry A. Hall

Henry A. Hall, age 84, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late Bubbie Hall and Della Mayne Hall. He was a carman for the CSX Railroad, retiring in October 1994; and was a member and Pastor of the Advent Christian Church for over 50 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Ryan Griffeth Hall and Jason Perry; great-grandson, Jermiah Davenport; brother, W.T. Hall; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Hart Hall; nine children: David Hall and wife Donna; Kathy Rogers and husband Gary; James Hall and wife Alice; Della Hall, Jack Hall, and Russell Hall, all of Corbin; Mary Perry and husband Austin of Williamsburg; Carolyn Bain and husband Tony and Steve Hall, of Corbin; two sisters: Mary Ethel Staniford and husband Russell of Dayton, Ohio, and Opal Jones of Corbin; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family, friends, including Bo and Denise Martin, Ellen and Clifford Huddleston, and Larry and Denise Ford.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Monday, December 9, 2013, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Lester and Rev. Marshall Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 pm Sunday, Dec. 8th, at the funeral home.
