Henry Allen

Henry Allen, age 51, of Lily, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was born on October 13, 1952 in London to the Late John Henry Allen and Victoria Smith Allen. He was a former employee of Tri County Cycle and a member of the North Corbin Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Brother Lester Allen and Sister Edith Allen. He is survived by his wife Brenda Allen; Three Children, Glenda Hutton of London, James Smallwood of Alabama, and Angela Proffitt of Lily; Three Grandchildren, Hailey Proffitt, James and Victoria Hutton. Four Brothers, Roy and James Allen of London, Albert Allen of Knox County and his brother David. One Sister, Martha McFaden of Clay County. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family and Friends who will mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Thursday May 20, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Corbin. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
