Henry Goforth

Henry Goforth, age 62, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday November 10, 2022, at his home.

Born in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was an owner operator of G&S Trucking and loved working in his garage.

Henry was preceded in death by his sons, Joshua Adam Goforth and Jonathan Henry Estle Goforth, father, Harlan Goforth, mother, Juanita Adams Bowling, and by his grandparents, Clara and Preston Goforth, and Reuben and Eva Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Helton Goforth, son Jeremiah Goforth (Brandi), daughter, Joanna Goforth, grandchildren, Ethan Goforth, Harley Weddle, Maddox Goforth, Benjamin Goforth, Jackson Kilburn, Kason Goforth, Ivory Goforth, and Hailo Goforth, siblings, Mary Lou Gregory (Loman), Ora Mae Roark, and Reuben Goforth (Rhonda), and by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday November 14, 2022, from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY.

His funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Johnny Farmer and Greg Sasser officiating.

Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
