Hubert T. Lowe

Hubert "Hoot" T. Lowe, 82, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born January 26, 1924 in Knox County, he was the son of the late Paris Lowe and Rosa Haggard Lowe. He was a coal miner and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition ot his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Thurla Sprinkles Lowe; and children, Brenda Kaye, Janice Faye and Terry Lynn Lowe.
He is survived by four sons, Hubert "Ray" Lowe and wife Judy of Corbin, David Gene Lowe and wife Barbara of Gray, Billy Lowe of Corbin and Randy Lowe and wife Connie of Corbin; two daughters, Lois Roaden and husband Marion of Corbin and Patsy Borowiak and husband Eddie of Bardstown, Kentucky; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Castle Lee Lowe and wife Joyce of Corbin; sister, Joyce Faye Lowe of London; uncle, Earl Lowe of Corbin; several nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Johnson and Pastor Charlie Humfleet officiating. Burial will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Pall bearers will be grandchildren.
The family will receive freinds from 6-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
