Ivory Lawson Gerow

Ivory Lawson Gerow, 91, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005 at the St. Luke West Hospital in Florence.
Born August 17, 1913 in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Jack Lawson and Bessie Goodin Lawson. Mrs. Gerow was a waitress at The Crickett in Cincinnati for over 40 years and worked up until she retired at 70 years of age.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Gerow; son, Jimmy Lawson; grandson, Bruce Lawson; brothers, Lawrence Lawson and A. J. Lawson; and sister, "Snooks" Virginia Lawson.
She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Clifton of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, and Rose Dalton of Park Hills, Kentucky; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, June Taylor of London, Viola Murdock of Ft. Myers, Florida and Sybil Faulkner of Tampa, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Bear Clifton officiating. Burial will follow at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Clifton, Jim Ed Lawson, Joey Kelley, Bear Clifton, Adam Davis and Mike Clifton.
