Jack Proffitt

Jack Proffitt, age 87, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Formerly of Corbin, Kentucky and Michigan, he was born in Lily, Kentucky.  Jack was a retired sales manager and a US Army veteran.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield Proffitt and Hannah Humfleet Proffitt, daughter, Mary Elizabeth, wife Leanore Proffitt, and by a sister, Bobbie Setser.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Vance Proffitt, daughters, Laura Sprinkle and Karen Proffitt, stepchildren, Mandy Jankowski, Wayne William Jankowski, and Timothy Allen Jankowski, eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

All services will be private with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
