James Edward Lunsford

James Edward Lunsford, age 75, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. Born in Corbin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Earl and Bessie Lunsford. James was devoted to his craft as a mason. He enjoyed puzzle books, classic westerns, and oldies music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Lillie Anderson; and two brothers, John, and Stanley Lunsford.
James is survived by his children, Darrell Lunsford (Hope) of Corbin, and Mark Lunsford of Corbin; grandchildren, Kayla Fields (Andy) of London, Joseph Lunsford (Jenny) of Brandenburg, KY, Sara Lunsford of Corbin, Rachel Hatcher (Patricia) of Corbin, Carolina Angel, Joshua Angel, Michael Angel, Justin Lance Lunsford Beckner, Kristen Lunsford, Adam Lunsford all of Corbin; great grandchildren, Aubree, Dusten, Skyleigh, Madix, Gracelynn, Harrison, Mason, Braxton, and Kenneth James, and by many family members and friends who all mourn his passing.
A memorial service will be held by the family from 12:00-1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Redemption Church in London, Kentucky with Pastor Billy Shelton officiating. A fellowship gathering will take place following the service at 1:00 P.M.
