James Elmer McVey, age 71, of Corbin passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jessie and Edna Scalf McVey; and Brothers, Russell and Ray McVey.
He is survived by Daughter, Linda McVey of Louisville; Three Sisters, Louise Sullivan of Corbin, Duplee Logue and husband Gene of Elizabethtown, and Imogene Knuckles of Corbin; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends who will all mourn his passing.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 5, 2009, from 9am until the time of the funeral at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery in Gray.
