James H Bryant

James H. Bryant, age 80, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday August 1, 2015 at the ARH in Whitesburg, KY.
He was a self employed owner of Bryant Electronics, a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam Era, and a Catholic by faith.
James was preceded in death by his Parents, Ulysses Bryant and Bertha Mullins Bryant; Sister, Theda Jewell Reed, and by a granddaughter, Brittnay Bradley.
He is survived by his Children, Polly Hibbard and husband Rick of Woodbine, Shawn Bryant and wife Lesley of Harlan, Jennifer Osborn and husband Bill of Bellevue, KY, Melanie Alsip and husband Roger of Corbin, and Rebecca Paul of Corbin; Grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Hibbard, Samantha Cawood, Justin, Makenzie, and Emily Bryant; Cody McFarland, Billy Osborn, Jacob Helton, Lucas Alsip, Kristina Sutton, Julian and Taylor French, and Landon Ledford; 17 Great Grandchildren, Sister, Ruth Ann Davis of Corbin, and by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation for James Bryant will begin at 1pm on Tuesday August 4, 2015 and conclude at 2:45pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 3pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin with Rev. Mike Weglicki officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
