James Larry Townsend

James Larry Townsend, age 75, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Saturday May 23, 2020 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was retired civil engineer with CSX Railroad and was a US Army and Corps of Engineers Veteran having served in Vietnam. Larry was preceded in death by his Parents, James Larkin Townsend and Irene Palmer Townsend and by a Brother, John Townsend. He is survived by his Son, Jonathan Townsend; Sister, J. Bopree; and by his former wife and her husband Deborah and Carl Cox. Arrangements by Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home will be private.
