James Russell Cornett

James Russell Cornett, age 50, of Gray, Kentucky passed away on Thursday November 24,2022 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.

Russ was a truck driver for Koch trucking. He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Wayne Cornett.

Russ is survived by his parents Wayne and Madelon Cornett, his wife Shelly Miracle Cornett, son Brody (Stephanie) Cornett, Jake (Rachel) Miracle, Corey (Carlos) Rivera, Daryl Hannah Blankenship. Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aiden, Kobe, Jacob, Payton, Axton, Keira, Paizley, Lyric. Sisters Cindy (Jeremy) Dutschke, Lisa (Greg) Boggs, Becky (Teddie) Prine. And by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9p.m on Monday November 28,2022, at the New Vision Pentecostal Church in Gray, KY, where his funeral service will be held at 1p.m Tuesday November 29, 2022, with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Charlie Humfleet officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
