Jana Lee Farmer

Jana Lee Farmer, age 63, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Knoxville, TN.
She was born on September 8, 1942 in Gray, KY to the late Oscar and Myrtle Hensley Messer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one Sister, Alice Messer.
Jana is survived by her husband Edward Farmer; One Daughter, Jana Riena Farmer Carnes and husband Jack of Corbin; one Grandson, Ethan Hunter Carnes of Corbin; one Brother, Lowell Messer and wife Patsy of Gray; three Sisters, Ethel West and husband Tom of Gray, Charlotte Kilgore and husband Joseph of Gray, and Linda Johnson and husband Charles of Poplar Grove; and a host of family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Sunday,  May 21, 2006 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Farris Cemetery in Gray. Pallbearers will be Todd Hall, Lawrence Ashworth, Hiram Johnson, Robbie Emmons, Joseph Kilgore, and James Farmer.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
